DOH-Putnam - Getting to the Root of Fun

Palatka, Fla. - October is National Dental Hygiene Month. DOH-Putnam, along with local providers, raised awareness on the importance of good oral health. Our primary focus is to increase the public's knowledge of dental health services available.
The Tooth fairy was a big hit distributing educational materials and activities. Youngsters competed in a "floss" dance-off, a "loose tooth bean-bag toss", and a "fill the cavity" relay race, demonstrating the proper technique for effective oral health practices.
