DOH-Putnam - A Fair for Health

DOH-Putnam team members shared information on Dental, Diabetes, Heart Health, WIC, Tobacco/SWAT, Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer and Violence Intervention and Prevention programs.

Palatka, Fla. - DOH-Putnam and community partners are diligent in improving the health of Putnam County residents. At this year's Palatka Rotary Health Fair, we give attendees the opportunity to one-stop-shop for health care and community resources.

The event featured free diabetes, heart health and low-cost blood screenings. Education classes for all ages included yoga; an introduction to acupuncture, dance lessons and many kid friendly efforts. The event jumpstarts the year for citizens with knowledge to begin a healthier lifestyle.
