COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic and Diabetes Screening Coming to Melrose August 6th

Palatka, Fla.— The Florida Department of Health in Putnam County (DOH – Putnam) will be participating in a Health Fair at the Melrose Community Center on Friday, August 6th, 2021. The hours are from 11:00 AM to 3 PM.

First and second doses of the Moderna and Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines will be available for adults, as well as the single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

Children 12 years old and older may receive the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. A parent or legal guardian must be present at the time of vaccination.

Diabetes Screening and education will also be available. A 16-week program for losing weight, becoming more physically active, and managing stress is free to those who qualify or are considered at-risk for diabetes.
