Putnam Helping Residents Feel Better

DOH-Putnam is offering a free six-week Diabetes Self-Management Education program to community residents with type 2 diabetes.
Upon completion of the class participants are invited to attend a Monthly Support Group featuring guest speakers providing education on all aspects of diabetes care. Pharmacist Alexis Arango from the Putnam Community Medical Center presented this month on the common diabetic medications.
