DOH-Putnam County Creating Healthy Habits

Palatka, Fla. - Carol Kazounis, DOH-Putnam Public Health Nutritionist participated in the Nutrition Month Community Walk at the Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka.
In response to the community expressing a desire for fitness events, the park has collaborated with local health providers to share health-themed issues at the event along with a two-mile guided walk through the park. Carol's presentation focused on reducing diet confusion and the benefits to your health by participating in physical activities.
