DOH-Putnam congratulates Mike Patterson, Health Services Representative on his Certification as a Stop the Bleed Instructor. As a course instructor, he will perform an important role as an ambassador for this training program, empowering civilians so they are able to provide immediate intervention and bleeding control to a victim of traumatic injury. Mike has been active in the community helping to save lives and reduce harm at emergency sites for many years as Chief of Putnam County Department of Emergency Services.
