DOH-Putnam SWAT Promotes TRL (Tobacco Retail Licensing)

Palatka, Fla. - DOH-Putnam SWAT youth, Neelam Patel, from the Q.I. Roberts Jr-Sr High School presented at the City of Palatka and Putnam County Board Commissioners Meetings, addressing Putnam County's tobacco retail environment and the current youth smoking rates.

The SWAT program is recommending adopting a tobacco retail license in Putnam County that would protect our children and prevent addiction. Mary Garcia, DOH-Putnam Administrator and Dave Powell, were in attendance at the presentation.
