DOH-Putnam Youth Keep on Trucking

Palatka, Fla. - The DOH-Putnam SWAT trailer joined dozens of county and municipal vehicles for the 14th Annual Touch-A-Truck hosted by Putnam County Parks and Recreation. Approximately 400 people, mostly families with children attended the event giving the children the chance to climb into vehicles, honk horns and turn on emergency lights.

Their operators fielded questions and gave out stickers and hats to the children. Carol Kazounis, Public Health Nutritionist, Jennifer Ramos Gagne', Tobacco/SWAT Manager and Jasmine Parker, Intern, distributed goodies on healthy nutrition topics, the SWAT program and tobacco cessation.
