DOH-Putnam - "Creating Your Legacy" Event Encourages Local Residents

Palatka, Fla. - The Palatka Housing Authority partnering with community stakeholders hosted the 3rd Annual Women's Empowerment Summit at the St. Johns River State College.

The event was an opportunity for women in public housing to hear from a diverse group of bright minds to share experiences that inspire, motivate, encourage, education and promote conversations that matter. Carol Kazounis, Public Health Nutritionist, Catherine Crinnion, Health Educator and Gloria Howell, Human Services Counselor attended sharing DOH-Putnam program and service information on DSME/HHP/DAP, Tobacco/SWAT, Violence Intervention and Prevention, Breast Cervical Cancer, WIC and Healthy Families.
