Palatka, Fla. - Mike Patterson, DOH-Putnam Health Services Representative met with team members to share information on Down & Dirty First Aid.

The interactive presentation quizzed attendees on how to treat a variety of medical needy scenarios only to find that many of the responses given were old school remedies from years past.

After the session team members acknowledged they had gained new knowledge on the best methods currently being utilized in medical emergencies from burns or strains/sprains to bleeding control and performing heart compressions.
