DOH- Putnam CARES about Cancer

Palatka, Fla. - Pink Out Putnam (POP) presented a check for $12,000 to the Putnam First Cancer Fund (PFCF). The POP team representing Welaka, Crescent City and Palatka have worked very hard for the past 2 months to raise funds by flocking yards with pink flamingos, "pinking-out" homes and businesses, bagged groceries and selling "POP" swag.

These women are dedicated to helping those affected by cancer in Putnam County. DOH-Putnam and the Putnam First Cancer Fund partner to facilitate cancer education, awareness, and screening programs/activities. PFCF assists residents who have been diagnosed with cancer or who may need diagnostic testing to determine the presence of cancer.
