DOH - Putnam - Community comes together to take care of the homeless

Palatka, Fla. - DOH-Putnam and the Putnam County Homeless Coalition hosted the 2nd Self-Care Day for our homeless citizens. Participants received services and information from various community partners and a homestyle Thanksgiving dinner.
Many residents experiencing homelessness were provided with Hepatitis A, Influenza, HIV, diabetes education and testing. The event was a great opportunity to assist some fantastic folks who needed a hand up.
