DOH - Putnam - A CommUNITY Investment

January 22, 2020

Palatka, Fla. - Putnam County is very generous and always answers the call for help. When we come together great things happen. Over the course of several weeks, the commUNITY responded in the most energizing and generous way possible.

"We finalized the annual Got Food Challenge", said Mary Garcia, DOH-Putnam Administrator. "Over 8000 pounds of donated food and personal items is being share shared with our community partners across the entire county: The Homeless Coalition, Feed the Need School Backpack Program, the Christian Service Centers, Soup Kitchens, Heart of Putnam Food Pantry, the Bread of Life, the Lee Conlee House and DOH-Putnam clients needing assistance while facing hardships and economic difficulties. When we come together great things happen."
