DOH-Putnam - Let’s Talk Teeth

January 22, 2020

Palatka, Fla. - DOH-Putnam celebrates February as National Children's Dental Health Month. Melissa White, Registered Dental Hygienist and Catherine Crinnion, SWAT Coordinator illustrated the importance of proper brushing, flossing and eating habits.

Visual aids demonstrated the sugar content of their favorite snacks and the effects on your teeth. Mr. Gross Mouth clearly showed the result of poor oral habits and not visiting the dentist regularly. Our goal is raising awareness for children to develop good oral habits at an early age to ensure a lifetime of healthy smiles.
