Putnam County WIC and Nutrition

Putnam County WIC is a special supplemental food and nutrition education program for women, infants, and children. WIC provides the following at no cost:

  • Height and weight
  • Hemoglobin screenings
  • healthy food during pregnancies, after delivery, and for infants and children up to age five
  • Breastfeeding support

WIC Services

  • EBT cards for healthy foods including: milk, cheese, eggs, juice, cereal, whole grains, beans, peanut butter, and voucher for fruits and vegetables
  • Nutrition education to help your family eat well and live healthy lives
  • Breastfeeding education, support and information
  • Help in finding health care and other community services
