Information for Health Care Providers - Contract Infant Formulas Provided by WIC
Putnam County WIC and Nutrition
Putnam County WIC is a special supplemental food and nutrition education program for women, infants, and children. WIC provides the following at no cost:
- Height and weight
- Hemoglobin screenings
- healthy food during pregnancies, after delivery, and for infants and children up to age five
- Breastfeeding support
WIC Services
- EBT cards for healthy foods including: milk, cheese, eggs, juice, cereal, whole grains, beans, peanut butter, and voucher for fruits and vegetables
- Nutrition education to help your family eat well and live healthy lives
- Breastfeeding education, support and information
- Help in finding health care and other community services
